Owing to production facilities of JSC «Ural works of civil aviation», personnel qualification and many years' experience, our enterprise can perform high-quality overhaul in shortest period of time. With all this going on, due to application of various methods of aviation component parts’ reconditioning, based on up-to-date progress in science and technology, as well as unique author’s technologies, the enterprise offers to its Customers more beneficial conditions of overhaul, than those, prevalent in the market.
In order to perform production activity, the enterprise was granted with Certificates/Licenses, issued by Ministry of transport of Russian Federation and Federal Agency on industry, for repair/overhaul of aviation equipment, including aviation equipment of dual function. Production and Quality management system of JSC «Ural works of civil aviation», based principals of Standards ISO series 9000, are certified, which is attested by Certificates of conformity of State Standard of Russian Federation, issued by the Air Fleet Certification System of Russian Federation, by System of certification of state aviation organizations of Russian Federation, by Interstate Aviation Committee.
For the purpose of erosive wear prevention, regarding flowing duct of engines Ò V2-117, Ò V3-117, our enterprise performs compressor blades spraying with special protective coating, developed by JSC «Ural works of civil aviation» (PRAD). This technology is unique and owned by PRAD, and reserved by author’s rights (Certificate of authorship ¹1426158 “The method of engine blades reconditioning”, issued in 19.01.1987)
Owing to protective coating application for compressor blades, performance characteristics of engines are increased considerably:
the coating allows to maintain high efficiency of engine during the whole period of operation, whereas engines without coating have losses of power up to 25 %;
Service life of engines is increased to about 30 %;
installation of coated compressor blades into an engine provides fuel saving up to 15% , and as for engine TV2-117 it gives about 60 tons per annum.
Engines, released after overhaul with coated blades, have no removals ahead of time, because of abrasive wear of blades that allows decreasing needs of appeal to an overhaul enterprise. Besides, overhaul cost is reduced considerably due to reduction of outlays for spare parts.
JSC «Ural works of civil aviation» is the designer and the sole owner of this technology. The enterprise received patents for invention in Russian Federation, USA, Canada, European Patent Office, Eurasian Patent Office.
New graphite seals, manufactured by JSC «Ural works of civil aviation» and installed during overhaul, increase operation reliability of engine support bearings and reduce number of early removal of items, because of various supports’ defects and failures.
During overhaul of engines Ò V2-117, replacement of high-wear metal-ceramic seals of engine turbines by honeycomb seals enhances specific performance of engines and retains them at high level within the whole period of operation. Execution of this modification is under agreement with the designer of an item, Scientific Production Association «Klimov Corporation».
During overhaul of engines Ò V3-117, installation of new honeycomb seals of engine turbines allows to retain high technical characteristics after overhaul on the level of new brand items.
The enterprise, JSC «Ural works of civil aviation», has developed and put into operation its own enterprise standard ÑÒÏ 404-049-2001, regarding personnel training within the enterprise as well as according to contracts with outside educational institutions.
